Frequently asked questions
🗓️
When was this project?
Mid to late 2022
⏱️
How long was this project?
Our thesis formed in 2022 and so did this idea, but we eventually pivoted later that same year
💡
What problem were you trying to solve?
How might we support both enthusiasts and NFT projects in navigating the cryptospace so that they are safe and secure in such a volatile environment?
⭐️
What was the goal of the project?
Centered on its three pillars, namely Community, Discovery, and Security, Minima will start a blockchain revolution that will take the technology into the mainstream markets.
overview of the project
Minima is a social platform designed for enthusiasts of non-fungible tokens (NFT) and cryptocurrencies. Through the platform, individuals and team projects alike will be able to create, verify, and share their crypto-presonas – giving everyone the ability to establish a concrete identity in the space without doxxing themselves.

about my role

From conceptualization to execution, I owned all design aspects. I was responsible for shaping both the strategic direction and visual identity of the platform, through UX research to better understand the behaviors and motivations of NFT traders; to market research and competitor analysis where I identified the gaps in existing crypto-social spaces. My work on Minima was more than just aesthetics, I was building a seamless, secure, and intuitive user experience that could bring NFTs into the mainstream while protecting user identities.

HOW I PUT MY SKILLS TO WORK
🐦

Twitter marketing. Leveraged Twitter’s crypto community to build brand awareness and user engagement, crafting content that resonated with NFT traders and influencers.

💻

Desktop application design. Developed Minima as a multi-platform experience, optimizing layouts and workflows for web and desktop users navigating the crypto space.

⌨️

No-code development. Built interactive prototypes and early-stage MVPs using Webflow, allowing for rapid iteration and testing without heavy engineering resources.

🚗

Startup roadmapping. Defined Minima’s strategic direction, aligning product goals with user needs and market trends to create a scalable and sustainable blockchain solution.

📱

User interface design. Designed an intuitive, security-focused platform that balanced visual appeal with usability, making NFT trading and project discovery more accessible.

👩‍💻

User experience research. Conducted user interviews and competitor audits to refine Minima’s interface, ensuring seamless identity creation, verification, and interaction for traders.

📈

Market research. Analyzed crypto-social platforms and trader behavior to identify gaps in NFT networking, shaping Minima’s unique value proposition in the space.

SO... what happened?
We tackled the challenge of security and identity in the cryptospace by developing a platform that allowed NFT enthusiasts and projects to create verified, non-doxxed crypto personas—bridging the gap between anonymity and credibility. Through rigorous UX research and market analysis, we built an experience that was both intuitive and protective, ensuring that users could safely engage in the volatile world of NFTs.
Impact & learning
Marketed our NFT project on Twitter through various marketing techniques unique to the NFT space
In the NFT world, Twitter isn't just a platform—it’s the pulse of the community. My team and I developed and executed a Twitter-native marketing strategy that leveraged engagement tactics unique to Web3: giveaways, alpha leaks, and strategic collaborations with NFT influencers. By tapping into the viral mechanics of NFT culture—retweet contests, whitelist campaigns, and community AMAs—we built a highly engaged following within weeks.
Led the design and development of our branding, design system, and product UI
From the outset, I took full ownership of branding, UI design, and system architecture, ensuring a cohesive, high-impact experience for NFT traders and project creators. Given the fast-evolving nature of Web3, we needed a scalable and intuitive design language that reflected both security and accessibility. Through an iterative UX process, I established a flexible design system that streamlined interactions while maintaining the decentralization ethos of blockchain.
Developed a prototype of our user clients: Minima persona (NFT trader) and Maxima profile (NFT project website)
To validate our concept before full-scale development, I designed and built interactive prototypes for both Minima Persona (NFT traders) and Maxima Profile (NFT project dashboards). These high-fidelity models allowed us to test user interactions, refine UX flows, and gather early feedback from real NFT enthusiasts and project teams. Through multiple iterations, I optimized the profile verification and discovery processes, ensuring that both traders and project owners could establish their digital identities while maintaining pseudonymity. These prototypes became the foundation for Minima’s MVP, bridging the gap between concept and execution.
Spearheaded the conceptualization and art direction of the NFT collection to be launched on our project
A strong NFT project isn’t just about the technology—it’s about the cultural and artistic narrative. I spearheaded the conceptualization and creative direction of Minima’s NFT collection, ensuring it had a distinct identity that resonated with collectors. Through deep research into crypto subcultures, generative art, and community storytelling, I designed an NFT collection that wasn’t just visually compelling but also integrated into Minima’s core functionality. This resulted in an NFT series that doubled as a gamified access pass, seamlessly blending community and product utility.
Devised a comprehensive roadmap for not only an NFT project that would fund our development, but also the product R&D itself
Instead of treating Minima’s NFT launch as a standalone initiative, I structured it as a sustainable funding mechanism that aligned with our broader R&D goals. I devised a roadmap that not only detailed the phased release of our NFT collection but also mapped out how funds would be reinvested into product development, partnerships, and infrastructure scaling. This strategic approach helped minimize reliance on external funding and kept Minima’s development independent and community-driven, reinforcing trust and long-term viability.
